In other words, you can't build mass and lose fat at the same time.
It simply doesn't use the same "machinery" to do both; your body must switch between pathways to synthesize new tissue and to cannibalize existing tissue.
To the potential trainee I would advise them to focus on one task at a time - either make an earnest attempt at gaining mass, then lose excess body fat, or lean up first, then try to gain mass.
By prioritizing your tasks this way, you will ultimately arrive at your ultimate goal faster and with less frustration.

What do you think of that diet where you eat certain foods based on your blood type?

I’ve got fat located in the area of my body where my arm meets my shoulder, and I can’t get rid of it. Are there any exercises in particular that would help improve that? Or what about any spot reducing supplements?
