Eugene Thong, CSCS, was born a weak, skinny, bespectacled child. Now, thanks to a steady diet of martial arts, scientific inquiry, and heavy compound movements, he’s no longer weak. His scientific bent, Zen-like demeanor, and efficient but intense methods have made him one of New York’s most sought-after personal trainers.

When not helping clients cultivate their own inner 6-packs, Eugene can be found arm barring opponents at Renzo Gracie’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy or sailing through the air on his snowboard.

Fiorella DiCarlo RD, RDN, CDN

Fiorella is a Registered Dietitian and has both clinical and research experience in medical nutrition therapy. She is considered a food and nutrition expert by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).

She has a B.S in Nutrition and Food Science. Her training also includes two post graduate training programs from the Women’s Therapy Institute in Eating and the Body: A Cultural, Relational Psychoanalytic Framework and another from the William Alanson White Institute for Psychoanalysis in Eating Disorders, Compulsions and Addictions.

Her private practice specializes in Eating Disorders and helping people Change their Relationship with Food.

Fiorella is the founder of Fiorella Eats, an exploration of food through the eyes and taste buds of a Registered Dietitian. A foodie and food curator first, Fiorella Eats chronicles the NYC food scene and shows how to get in touch with your food–touch it, smell it, cook it, love it!

Fiorella Eats is an exploration of food culture through the eyes and taste buds of an Italian born, U.S raised Registered Dietitian who is in love with food! Fiorella is a foodie & food curator first and chronicles the food scene in NYC through its cuisines, art, and cultural events.

Fiorella also cooks easy, nutritionally balanced meals and eats to live longer and better. She still cans her own tomatoes in September with her mother and sisters and grew up eating Neapolitan peasant food and can’t resist a good pig snout! She has been called “Severely Italian”.

Her clinical work taught her how our relationship with food can go terribly wrong so she thought she would dedicate her time to Changing your Relationship with Food!
