There are two paths to weight loss:
1) Slow and Steady.
2) Immediate, grand impact and then maintenance.
Slow and steady is considered the proper way by most weight loss coaches.
If requires strong focus and consistent action.
Attention to detail over the long term.
Progress is happening, but incremental changes are tough to perceive in the short-term. So, measurement is paramount.
You must trust the process and maintain a level of willpower, and you will reach your goal.
Immediate and grand impact is the more controversial approach to weight loss.
It focuses on a massive shift in the way you think about diet and exercise.
It requires absolute tenacity for a set period of time upfront- mentally and physically.
It creates a big, motivating win upfront, and rewires your connections to food and exercise so that maintaining or further progressing your results comes naturally.
Now, there’s no right or wrong path.
They’ll both get you to your goal. But, there is a right way for you.
When you read the description of slow and steady vs. immediate impact, what was your gut feeling?
Go with your gut.
There’s an energy brewing inside of you. Lean into it. Hard.
We believe in exploiting that energy to rack up your first win on the scale.
Even if it’s a small win.
